Field Trip to Thetford Forest for Year 7&8
As part of the Humanities curriculum, Year 7 and 8 students visited two locations close to Thetford. The morning was spent at the Castle Hill area investigating the remains of the Iron Age hillfort, the Norman Motte and Bailey Castle.
After a picnic lunch they visited different locations in the woods at Santon Downham looking at secondary succession. The weather was lovely and the students thoroughly enjoyed it.
