GCSE Geography Field Trip Cambridge
As part of the GCSE geography course we study urban environments. On Friday the 18th we visited three areas of Cambridge to investigate whether a high streets are becoming clones of each other. We studied Fitzroy Road, the Grafton Centre and the grand arcade. The weather was kind to us which always makes Fieldwork enjoyable. Once back in school we talked about the future of a high streets and roads up our investigations.
We also took the opportunity to visit Cambridge research Park so the students have a clear understanding of what the area is like as it is one of the case studies we use in the economic activities unit.
