East Anglian Eventing Special & British Connemara Pony Society Performance Day & Eventing Qualifier.
Very exciting news from one of our year 8 students Olivia Livall. At the weekend she took part in the East Anglian Eventing Special & British Connemara Pony Society Performance Day & Eventing Qualifier.
Olivia competed in the 80cm section and achieved a 30.75 dressage and then went double clear for show jumping and cross country, with just a few time penalties to add to her final score.
She was placed top 20 overall for the EA special one-day event, but also placed in the Connemara Performance competition; 5th in the dressage and 4th in the show jumping.
However, the icing on the cake is that the double clear she achieved has qualified her for the BCPS Eventing Championships in September to be held at Swalcliffe Park, Banbury. This Championship hosts all those who have qualified from around the country and is a 2-day event. This is very exciting and we are delighted for Olivia and her pony Buddy.

This means she has had 3 successful runs at one day events to put Olivia forwards for team selection for the Pony Club Grassroots Eventing qualifiers, that we at Brookes are sponsoring, to be held at Ickworth Park in July this year.
Regional PC Champs would follow this if she was to qualify, and they are held at Horseheath in August.
