Sports day spirit with social distancing!
Blustery weather didn’t stop our special sports day from going ahead. Children up to Year 6 competed in a variety of individual and team events with some impressive performances. The wind may even have helped some pupils achieve personal bests!
“As ever the Brookes spirit was in abundance and the children really put their all into each event,” said Principal Graham Ellis.
“There was also a great atmosphere due to the excellent sporting attitudes of the children with lots of cheering for everyone no matter what position they finished. Huge thanks our teachers on the day and in particular to Miss Natalie for helping with the logistics and Mrs Gale who organised and ran the events superbly!”
