Upper school students rise to the challenge
In February some of our students were selected to sit the UKMT (United Kingdom Mathematics Trust) Intermediate Maths Challenge, which is open to students in senior school. The maths challenge competitions serve to ‘encourage mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.
Congratulations to the 10 students who participated. Two of our Year 11 students stood out with a Gold award and a Bronze award.
