Area 8 PC Grassroots (80cm) Eventing Qualifiers

A very early start to avoid the heat, meant Olivia and her pony Buddy trotted down the centre line at just after 7am!! A consistent dressage test put them at the top of the leader board to begin with, but unfortunately with two poles down show jumping they dropped a few places. With all to play for, out on what was a very influential cross country course, they set off determined and focused to get the job done. Clear cross country and safely across the finish line meant they moved up to take individual 6th place in their section, as well as helping their team to take 6th as well, qualifying for the Regional Grassroots Eventing Championships next month, at Horseheath in Cambridgeshire.
To qualify is a fantastic achievement, as it was their first attempt at an Area level competition.
